my games go straight to dolby digital but my movies wont. how can i get my blu-ray movies to play on dolby digital?

There are several Blu-ray players that play DVD-A. All Oppo Blu-ray players and several from Denon/Marantz and at least one from Yamaha. All of those also play SACD. Just do a search for each company with Blu-ray DVD-A to get the various model numbers. I have the Oppo BDP-80 and BDP-83 and can recommend Oppo but all Blu-ray players that use MediaTek have a problem with clipping the opening note or two on some songs on some discs if you skip forward to tracks. I know all Oppo players use the MediaTek chip. I haven't noticed the issue the way I play DVD-A, I don't skip tracks very often and it is rare enough and benign enough that I had to read about the issue to know it exists. Reading about the BDP-95 at Steve Hoffman's Forum there are reports that the BDP-95 does not have the issue with truncating the first few notes of the problem DVD-As.
